How it works

Five stages. Two ways in. A human confirms every one.

Type it or upload it — OCR suggests, you decide. Nothing about a financial record in Verluma Entry is ever posted, classified, or approved without a person choosing that outcome.

01

Enter the transaction, your way

Type a vendor, an amount, a category, and you're done — vendor autocomplete and category suggestions come from your own history, so routine entries get faster over time. Have a receipt instead? Upload a photo or PDF (validated by its own bytes, stored privately, never a public URL) and OCR suggests the same fields for you to check. Both paths lead to the exact same structured record.

02

You confirm what's about to be saved

Whether you typed it or OCR suggested it, nothing is posted automatically. Accept a suggestion, correct it, or overwrite it — the choice is always yours before it becomes a real transaction.

03

The transaction gets organized

A category, a classification, and — where it applies — a tax treatment and ITC eligibility. Basic entry covers the common case in a few fields; Advanced entry exposes everything.

04

It moves to review

Marked Ready for Review, it enters the queue. The person who entered it can never approve it themselves — a Reviewer looks it over, and can send it back for more information if something's unclear.

05

An accountant-ready package comes out

Once a period's transactions are approved, generate reports and a Complete Accountant Package — clearly labeled as prepared for review, never as a filed return.

A note on OCR

OCR is assistance for when you have a receipt to work from — not the product itself, and not required. It never posts, classifies, or approves a transaction on its own; every one of those remains a human choice, every time.
